Nikos Economopoulos will be a guest at BSPF 2025
Greek Magnum photographer Nikos Economopoulos will be attending the Brussels Street Photography Festival 2025 as a guest of the festival. He will be hosting a workshop, giving a talk, providing portfolio reviews and will be a jury member, judging the finalists and deciding the winners together with the other members of the jury.
An influence on street photography
Though Nikos’s work has ranged from documentary photography to intimate portraits, his keen sense of street photography—capturing spontaneous, real-life moments in urban spaces—has always been at the heart of his practice. As he transitions into using more color in his photography, his ability to blend narrative with visual artistry continues to evolve, influencing the next generation of street photographers.
At the Brussels Street Photography Festival, attendees can look forward to hearing from Nikos directly as he delves into his creative process, his travels, and his reflections on the changing landscape of street photography in today’s world.
