During the photo walk you will be exploring the beauty of your surroundings and capturing it through photography. Our experienced photographer Bego Amaré will be leading the way, sharing tips and techniques for capturing stunning images. During this workshop, our photographer will be pointing out interesting subjects and compositions, and offering guidance on camera settings and techniques. As you explore, you'll have the opportunity to practice your photography skills and experiment with different angles and perspectives. You'll also have the chance to ask questions and learn from our photographer's expertise.
This free workshop is suitable for photographers of all levels, whether you're a beginner or an experienced professional. Whether you're looking to improve your skills, or just want to spend some time enjoying the beauty of our capital Brussels.
Bego Amaré is a Madrid-based photographer, beginning her journey with photography as a self-educated artist, later honing her skills in visual narrative with workshops and photo school programs.
She has been recognized with significant accolades, including the first prize in the LensCulture Street Photography Awards for a single image, "A la sombrica," in 2021. She continued her path in street photography, becoming a finalist in the Eyeshot Open Call and the Italian Street Photo festival, and a semi-finalist at the Head On festival in Australia, while also being published in Eyeshot magazine, all these happening in 2022. A year after she was published in the sold-out issue of Underexpose zine, "Rendijas" (Cracks), and in 2024 she was finalist in Dublin Photo Festival, got the Audience Award in Brussels Photo Festival, and published her first documentary work as a photobook "Detenerel paisaje" (Seizing the landscape), now in the promotion phase.
From her presence in various mediaplatforms, it stands out her street work broadcasted in TV program "La aventura del saber" in channel 2 of the Spanish public television.
