This talk presents the photographic work of Jesse Marlow (b.1978, Melbourne), one of Australia's most respected street photographers, known for his candid, colour-rich images of everyday urban life. He was awarded International Street Photographer of the Year in 2011 and won the Monash Gallery of Art's Bowness Prize in 2012. Since 2015 he has been a Leica Ambassador. His work is held in major public collections including the National Gallery of Victoria and Australian Parliament House. He has published multiple monographs, most recently (De)Compositions with Perimeter Editions.
