This talk presents the photographic work of Blake Andrews, a self-taught photographer, writer and photobook reviewer based in Eugene, Oregon. He has been making photographs for over 30 years, capturing everyday life with a keen eye for subtle humor, visual serendipity and overlooked details in urban landscapes. He’s a member of UP Photographers.
In addition to his photography, Blake is a prominent voice in the photobook community. He maintains a long-running blog and contributes reviews and essays to various online platforms.
In 2025, he published his photography monograph, Asa Nisi Masa, with Eyeshot Publishing, drawing on decades of work and reflecting his distinctive approach to visual storytelling.
