There are six available sessions, each review lasts 20 minutes per person.
You can only register for one session.
Sessions are in English unless you and the reviewer share another common language.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to secure your spot.
Bring your portfolio (printed or digital) with no more than 20 pictures.
There is no need to send your portfolio in advance.

In this portfolio review session, the photographer offers feedback and guidance to help you improve your photography skills. The photographer will be examining your images with a critical eye, looking for strengths and weaknesses in your composition, technical execution, and overall style. The goal is to help you take your photography to the next level by identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive feedback. You’ll leave with practical tips and inspired ideas to take your photography further.
All levels and genres are welcome. Come with your portfolio, questions and an open mind.
Salih Basheer (born in 1995, in Omdurman, Sudan) is a Sudanese photographer. After finishing high school in Sudan, he moved to Cairo in 2013 and received his Bachelor's degree in Geography from Cairo University in 2017. During his studies in Egypt, he started as a self-taught photographer, and subsequently studied photojournalism in Denmark.
In 2021, Basheer received the W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund student grant for his personal project 22 Days in Between. For the same project, Basheer was awarded the Everyday Projects Grant, In January 2023, Basheer published 22 Days in Between, the first ever photo-book by a Sudanese photographer, and the book was awarded the 2023, Les Rencontres d’Arles Photo-Text Book Award.
In June 2022, the British Journal of Photography presented Salih as one of 15 upcoming photographers, In 2024, he joined Magnum Photos as a nominee.
