The session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes.
Sessions will be in English unless you and the guest speak another common language.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to secure your spot.
Bring your portfolio (printed or digital) with no more than 20 pictures.
There is no need to send your portfolio in advance.

In this session the photographer offers feedback and guidance to help you improve your photography skills. The photographer will be examining your images with a critical eye, looking for strengths and weaknesses in your composition, technical execution, and overall style. The goal is to help you take your photography to the next level by identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive feedback. You will receive tips and suggestions on how to improve your work.
Born in Brussels in 1973, Nicolas is an agronomist by training and has over twenty years of experience working for international organisations and NGOs. He has documented issues of rural poverty and agricultural sustainability in Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia or West Africa. A focus on human development informs his unique photographic perspective.
In 2014, he embarked on a one-yearoverland journey from Brussels to Hong Kong and photography quickly became hismedium of choice for documenting stories from the road.
Nicolas has been documenting thestreets of Hong Kong since 2015. His candid street scenes have been publishedin various magazines, exhibited and featured online by a range of streetphotography collective or competition.
In Hong Kong, he had the opportunity to attend two Magnum Workshops to continue developing his vision, with Richard Kalvar as well as Alex and Rebecca Webb.
He was one of the series finalists in the 2019 Brussels Street Photography Festival and he is currently finalizing his first photo book expected to be published in 2024.
In 2022 he moved back toBrussels after 7 years in Asia. He is currently working as freelance photographer and consulting at the same time for the United Nations Development Programme on Agriculture sustainability globally.
