Story Telling & Editing
Gaël Turine will lead a three days photography workshop for those seeking improvement in their aesthetic and visual storytelling skills.
Based upon his two most recent books and different assignments, he will present his working methods to the group of participants. From the emergence of an idea to the understanding of the situation and related issues, from the shooting to the final presentation of a consistent body of work, every step requires skills and method.
Editing and Sequencing are two major issues that Gaël will focus on. Together with the participants, he will look at their personal projects, evaluate the visual language, the editing and the sequencing of the images. Alternatives for a final presentation will be discussed as well.
How to develop a personal vision and define a clear intention? What strategy to apply on a specific project? Who to collaborate with? How to disseminate the work?… these are questions Gaël will raise all along the workshop.
